Politics in social networking is all fun and silly, the above being the most recent Facebook Group I have joined in response to the  equally amusing Facbook Group titled "Sarah Palin is twice the man Barack will ever be".  You all know I don't take these things to seriously but  Sabrina Gosnell, the creator the Obama supported group, has a nice personal message as the group description that I got permission to repost below.

There are a multitude of reasons why Sarah Palin is bad for feminism and women in general. These are only the issues which pertain to women; there are a multitude of other policies of hers which I vehemently disagree with, BUT regardless of your stance on other issues, if you are a woman, or related to any women, you might want to consider some of these points.

*She is a proponent of abstinence-only sex education (which some may argue clearly does not work, as evidenced by her currently pregnant teenage daughter), and opposes any other type of sex education. This, in effect, denies young women access to any tools which may keep them safe from STIs as well as unwanted pregnancies, which leads to the abortion issue...

I don't know if he has actually committed any *real* crimes. I do know that if singing good satirical songs about war, poverty, ignorance, bigotry, neo-conservatism, homophobia, greed, lust and fear was a crime Roy would be spending life behind bars (that *should* have been my introduction... next time).

We were lucky enough to play host to him last night at the IMC for one of the best solu acustic set I have seen in a long time. I was also lucky enough to get some quick video, photos, and of course a recording of the set minus the first couple songs.
